Hello, I’m Julie White - an artist and textile designer based in Adelaide, South Australia. I’m so glad you’re here!

My work is inspired by the wild beauty of the Australian landscape. I’ve always felt a strong emotional connection to it 

- the colour, the light, and the personality in our native flora and fauna. Living in South Australia, I’m lucky to have bushland 

and coastline close by, and I spend a lot of time soaking it all in

Back in the studio, I draw from memory and imagination rather than strict observation. My approach is intuitive and expressive

- less about control, and more about capturing a feeling. For me, it’s about translating that sense of joy, energy and movement into each piece

With a background in fashion and textiles, I create my own line of accessories designed to bring colour and character into the everyday.

Each design begins as an original artwork, which I then transform into wearable pieces
